Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a leading cause of community-acquired pneumonia in school-age children. Complication was considered unusual in normal immunological hosts. We reported one patient, who was previously healthy, got severe Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection with multi-system involvement. The clinical manifestation, course of illness, mechanism of pathogenesis, and a brief review of current literature are presented.
