摘要

國內成績最頂尖的學子－醫學生，長久以來一直都被視為優秀菁英。醫學教育內容博大精深，同儕競爭激烈，以及台灣父母與師長殷切的期望之下，這群擅於讀書考試的學生，身處其中，其所承載的壓力是我們所不易想像的。本文試圖從醫學教育背景開始，以國外所做關於醫學生相關壓力研究之結果為基礎，找出具跨文化性的壓力項目：學業壓力、人際互動及經濟負擔的觀點，反思台灣醫學生所承受的壓力，哪些是舉世皆然，哪些是國內醫學生所特有的壓力。期能對後續醫學生壓力的相關研究及醫學教育改革能有微薄的貢獻。

Medical students, the outstanding students with honor in Taiwan, have been considered as the top of college students for so long. They bear the unthinkable pressure under the eager anticipations from their parents and teachers, the intense competitions with their peers and the profound medical knowledge. After reviewing the references and comparing them with the related researches in Taiwan, the cross-cultural similarities of pressure of medical students are listed as follow: academic performance, interpersonal relationship, and financial problems. The special phenomena here in Taiwan are also discussed in this article. This paper is expected to make some contribution to future medical education and related researches.
