Medical students, the outstanding students with honor in Taiwan, have been considered as the top of college students for so long. They bear the unthinkable pressure under the eager anticipations from their parents and teachers, the intense competitions with their peers and the profound medical knowledge. After reviewing the references and comparing them with the related researches in Taiwan, the cross-cultural similarities of pressure of medical students are listed as follow: academic performance, interpersonal relationship, and financial problems. The special phenomena here in Taiwan are also discussed in this article. This paper is expected to make some contribution to future medical education and related researches.
