English Language Learning Strategy Use: A Study of Yu-Da College Students

育達商業技術學院學生學習英語的方法與策略之研究

摘要


此研究的目的在探究台灣大學生學習英語的方法與策略。1035位就讀於苗栗育達商業技術學院的學生參與此研究之問卷調查。此研究的主要研究法乃採用Oxford (1989)的語言學習策略問卷調查表(有50題)。此外,伴隨此問卷調查表的還有此研究案之研究者自編的個人背景問卷調查表(有11題)。此研究用SPSS統計軟體分析所有的資料。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of language learning strategies by a group of Taiwanese college students. The data of the research was provided by 1035 college students from Yu-Da College of Business in Miaoli, Taiwan. Oxford’s Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) (1989) consisting of 50 questions was the primary instrument. A personal background questionnaire consisting of 11 questions developed by the researcher of this study was administered together with the SILL. Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data.
