水稻幼苗生長對過量紫外線B照射的反應

Response of Rice Seedling Growth to Excess UV-B Light

摘要


水稻幼苗遭受過量的UV-B照射後,調查其植株形態及生理反應的變化,包括植株生長高度、植株鮮重、乾重、葉綠素含量、光系統效率、電解質滲漏、丙二醛含量及抗氧化酵素活性和抗氧化物的含量。結果顯示UV-B照射處理會抑制水稻植株株高生長、減少水稻植體鮮重、乾重的累積、降低葉綠素含量、抑制光系統效率、破壞葉片,以及增加葉片上表皮氣孔、丙二醛含量及電導度。在抗氧化系統方面,雖然在UV-B處理下部分抗氧化物含量略增,且抗氧化酵素系統包括超氧歧化酶、抗壞血酸過氧化酶及穀胱苷肽還原酶的活性在UV-B處理第一天會增加,但第一天以後抗壞血酸過氧化酶及穀胱苷肽還原二者的活性則明顯的下降。

Physiological and morphological responses of rice seedlings at 3-leaf stage to the excess UV-B irradiation were determined by using rice cultivar TNG-67. Experimental results showed that the seedling growth of rice plants was affected by excess UV-B irradiation with reduction in plant height, fresh weight, and dry weight. Besides, reduced chlorophyll, decreased photosynthetic capacity, damaged stomata structure, as well as both the increased malondialdehyde and electrolyte conductivity, were observed. On the other hand, although some nonenzymatic antioxidants, i.e., ascorbic acid, reduced form and oxidized form glutathione, in rice seedlings were slightly increased, and the activities of antioxidative enzymes, i.e., superoxide dismutase, ascorbate peroxidase and glutathione reductase, were increased at the first day after exposure to excess UV-B radiation, the antioxidative activities were decreased with time subsequently. Hence, results suggest that the tremendous production of peroxides under the excess UV-B light results in an antioxidation system out of control.
