商務華語文化教學法研究

Teaching Culture in Business Chinese Curricula

Abstracts


語言與文化是一體的兩面,在商務華語教學中,教師如何帶入文化內容,實施文化教學是師生關注的焦點。由於文化教學對於外籍人士經商有交際禮儀行為與語言上的直接效應,因此商務華語的文化教學比通用華語中學習的文化內容更具重要性,在商務華語教學中如何制定商務文化教學活動,以符合學生所需,是本論文的重心。本研究分析了近年臺灣所發行的商務華語教材中的文化內容,並探析教師對於商務華語文化教學的看法與實際教學經驗,歸納出三種不同商務文化涉入程度的華語教學型態,包含對話型的「商業文化內容聽說教學策略」、作業型的「商業文化作業型態教學策略」、以及體驗型的,讓學生親自進入某個特定商業場域因而文化沉浸程度更深的「商務文化體驗式教學策略」等。在以上的教學型態中,依循有系統性的「商務文化教學步驟」,教師們便可據以實施有效的商務華語文化教學。本文也依據整體研究結果,提出未來研究商務華語文化教學的建議。

Parallel abstracts


Language and culture are two facets of the same entity. When teaching Business Chinese, how a teacher integrates cultural content and conducts cultural teaching is a critical issue. Since the teaching of culture has a direct impact on foreign business people's social manners and success in doing business, teaching and learning culture in Business Chinese curricula can be crucial. The focus of this research thus lies in exploring useful cultural teaching strategies in Business Chinese curriculum. The research first begins with analysis of learning needs and teaching material, followed by an in-depth qualitative study of practitioners' views and teaching methodology. It concludes with three different Business Chinese Cultural Teaching Styles: "Business Content Based Audiolingual Method", "Business Cultural Task-Based Approach", and a method that yields a deeper immersion experience-"Business Culture Experiential Method". Finally, useful teaching steps and a prospectiveresearch framework are recommended for future research and teaching practice.
