一千零一夜之舞：東西電影裡阿拉伯女性舞蹈與其意象之初探

摘要

現今普遍認知中的「阿拉伯性感肚皮舞孃」，實是美國好萊塢創造出的產品，大抵符合西方白人殖民男性對東方有色被殖民女性的想像。在商品全球化與影像便利流通的影響下，這個作爲《一千零一夜》裡，充滿異國情調的「後宮女體情慾之舞」意象，儼然已成中東與阿拉伯文化象徵。然這個好萊塢式的東方女體之舞，與阿拉伯社會現實有所差距，且電影中的東方舞蹈，與埃及當地舞蹈十分不同。
本文試圖藉由分析片裡有東方女性舞蹈片段的好萊塢電影、法國電影與埃及歌舞片各一，以分析東西電影裡，舞蹈語言及東方女性意象之異同。

The image of sexy Arabian belly dancers was created by hollywood to fulfill western male colonialst imaganation. Because of globalization, this sexy dancing image of ”Arabian Nights” has become Middle Eastern and Arabian cultural symbol. However, this ”Hollywood” belly dance is toally diffrent from the authentic Arabian one. This paper tries to compare the difference between Hollywood, French and Egypt movies.
