摘要

本研究透過文獻回顧，瞭解何謂美術治療及國內外安寧病房運用的情形，研究主要目的在瞭解病人願意接受美術治療的比率有多少？接受過一次美術治療的人，是否還願意再繼續參加美術治療？在病人的主觀認定上，美術治療對於他們心情是否有所幫助？病人參與治療的時間平均有多久？另外美術治療時的情況與特色為何？是否可以訓練志工或護理人員來執行美術治療的工作？本研究係以立意取樣方式，以民國94年6月21日至9月21日中部地區某教學醫院住安寧病房的86位病人為母群體，篩選出22位符合條件之個案為研究對象，徵得同意後有9位(40.9%)願意參與美術治療，實際參與的有6位(27.3%)。研究結果顯示；實際參與的病人在治療後仍願意再繼續參加的有5位(83.3%)，不願意的則有1位(16.7%)；同意治療對心情有幫助的人有5位(83.3%)，不同意的則有1位(16.7%)。病人參與治療的平均時間為39.2分鐘。美術治療的過程呈現的特色顯示，美術治療師的專業工作不易為其他人員取代，但其他人員可以透過訓練陪伴病人享受美術的樂趣。

In this research, we will introduce art therapy and give a brief account of its theories, and applications in the literature review. Both local and international literatures would be reviewed and studied. Then its applications in palliative care service in both Western countries and Taiwan will be discussed. This study utilised synthetic approach of ideas and practices of art therapy and oriented toward the circumstance of palliative care in Taiwan. This research aims at studying and evaluating both patients' adoption of art therapy in Taiwan Hospice setting and the process of art therapy, and to arouse further discussion for the improvement of Hospice care service. From 21, June 2005 to 21 September 2005, we invited 22 patients who were capable of conducting art activities in our Hospice to participate in art therapy. 40.9% of selected patients verbally agreed to participate art therapy, and 27.3% of selected patients participated art therapy at the end. Those who participated art therapy were invited to complete a simple questionnaire after therapy. Meanwhile, the art therapist also wrote notes of the process of the therapy. 83.3% of participants agreed to continue art therapy and felt that it is helpful for emotions. 16.7% of participants disagreed its help and to continue. The average time of therapy is 39.2 minutes. This study revealed that the acceptance of patients to use art therapy is acceptable, and the response to art therapy is good. The art therapy notes presented some characteristics and identified that volunteer workers are difficult to substitute for art therapists.
