摘要

本文是描述一位卵巢癌末期合併惡性腹水的病人，在面臨病人因為癌症所帶來的症狀困擾及心靈問題時之護理經驗，護理期間自民國93年8月10日至9月6日。以Gordon十一項功能性健康型態評估，藉由觀察、會談及身體評估等方式收集資料，發現病人住院期間之主要護理問題有：一、身體方面有疼痛及呼吸困難/惡性腹水產生不適症狀；二、心理社會方面有焦慮/不確定感及害怕離別；三、靈性方面有靈性困擾/面對死亡。護理重點是在協助病人維持其身體的需求及身心之舒適，減低病人及其家屬對死亡的焦慮與憂鬱。整個照護過程中，藉由與病人和家人之互動及安寧團隊的合作，讓病人得以安寧歸去。

The article describes the experience of caring a terminal patient who had an ovarian cancer with malignant ascites. While suffering from cancer-related symptoms including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of suffering during her hospitalization. The nursing care duration was from August 10 to September 6,2004. Clinical observation, interview and physical examination were used by the Gordon 11-iteam Function Health Pattern to identify nursing problems. The major nursing problems were pain, breathless, anxiety, and spiritual distress. The hospice team helped the patient to relieve from the disease discomfort and promoted her quality of life. During caring period, the team approach to improve the patient with her family's interrelation and reach the end of her life peacefully. This experience was presented to medical stuff as a persuasive example.
