摘要

本篇報告即藉由基督宗教信仰的協助，來喚醒一位老年臥床基督徒患者存在的意義與價值，透過靈修的資源來協助其走出生命困境，並引導其面對自己生死議題。以個案基督信仰為中心，經過個案及案妻同意下，透過教會教友們設計與安排，使其能夠經歷讀經、唱詩、和禱告的過程，並於期間體會上帝在個案生病臥床的旨意，學習如何緊握上帝，面對死亡。針對老人長期臥床的患者，筆者建議於其自身方面，可加強人生回顧，於他人方面，鼓勵家人和朋友多予探視，於信仰方面，針對其所相信的神、教義、和儀式，進行宗教治療活動計畫，使老人個案於自身、他人、和信仰間，均能達到靈性的和諧一致狀態。

This report is to wake up the meaning and value of its existence for a Christian elderly bedridden patient by assisting through Christ religion and spiritual resources to help his plight of life and guide him face life and death issues. Based on the center of Christian faith, the case experienced the process of reading Bible, singing Christian songs, and praying through the design and arrangement of church members with the agreement of the client and his wife. During the process, the client could understand the will of being sick on the bed and learn how to grip God during facing the death. For the elderly bedridden patients, the author suggested it could enhance life-review for themselves, encourage family members and friends to visit frequently for the relationship with others, and conduct the religious treatment plan following the client's belief on God, doctrine, and ritual for faith that achieved the status of spiritual harmony among their own, between others, and faith for the elderly cases.
