The green materials for automobile headlamp reflector are successfully prepared. The green materials are composites of polyamide mixed with glass fiber. The composites have high heat resistance, better illumination property, superiority for environment with recycle property and lower cost for product. The thermal properties of the composites were studied by Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and Moisture absorption test. The illumination properties were studied by reflector and lighting test by FMVSS No. 108 Text. These data of resulting composite system were compared with those of cast alumina fabrication. The cost analysis of headlamp reflector shows that the composites with reusable polyamide (HTV-3HIB) has lower cost with 30.58NT per piece than aluminum.
