目的:以領導類型為研究途徑,探討家長式領導的八種類型的分布情形,以及家長式領導八種領導類型與運動員知覺信任教練、團隊價值觀的關係。方法:以大專排球聯賽公開組609 筆資料為樣本,在五點量尺的家長式領導,以3 為切割點區分出家長式領導的八種領導類型:全面型、恩德型、威德型、恩威型、仁慈型、德範型、威嚇型、全無型。結果:共變數分析顯示,恩德型及全面型是最具有效能的教練類型,威嚇型與全無型是最不具領導效能的類型。結論:根據上述研究發現,教練領導行為應是考量情境和團隊成員因素而加以應變,同時展現對團隊成員的關懷,才能得到成員的信任,提升團隊價值觀。
Purpose: This study was to use leader exemplar approach to analyze the distributions of eight types of paternalistic leadership (PL) in sports, and examine the relationship between the eight types of PL and trust in coach and team values. Method: Samples were 609 open group volleyball players in year 2003 and 2011. Since the measurement for PL was five-point Likert scale, we used the mid-point of the absolute scale (3.0) as the cutoff to determine whether a leader as high and low on PL. Eight types of paternalistic leader as follows: authentic PL leaders, selfless benefactor PL leaders, disciplinarian PL leaders, godfather PL leaders, indulgent PL leaders, ideological PL leaders, dictatorial PL leaders, and Laissez-fire PL leaders. Results: The results revealed indulgent PL and authentic leaders PL leaders where the most often seen leaders in coaching. The top five frequency ranks in leaders’ types were: indulgent PL leaders, authentic leaders PL leaders, ideological PL leaders, Laissez-fire PL leaders, and disciplinarian PL leaders. Except Laissez-fire leaders, the rest were moral-based leaders. The ANCOVA revealed that indulgent PL leaders, authentic leaders PL leaders, and disciplinarian PL leaders were the effectiveness styles, whereas dictatorial PL and Laissez-fire PL leaders were the less effectiveness styles. Conclusion: The findings and applications were discussed.
