美濃紙傘彩繪文化元素之分析及其應用

摘要

美濃紙傘是客家人的傳統工藝，也是客家人生活習俗的一部分，就推廣客家文化而言，是一個非常值得探究的課題。然而就紙傘的研究而言，到目前為止數量並不多，而且針對彩繪元素的論述並不完整，是以本文企圖以較為細膩深入的方式，對於紙傘的彩繪進行主題式研究，針對繪圖時所運用的文化元素進行分析，讓讀者能清楚掌握美濃紙傘彩繪時，這些文化元素的圖象類型及其意涵。在研究方法上，本文將透過次級資料分析法、歷史分析法、田野調查法來進行處理。一方面針對過去研究美濃紙傘之相關文獻進行探討，一方面直接到美濃紙傘廠進行觀察，了解紙傘作品彩繪時所使用的文化元素，並進行圖片之拍攝，最後透過訪談的方式，強化對整個研究問題的了解。經過本文的研究，美濃紙傘彩繪時所使用的文化元素，其圖象類型與內在意涵都能明確得知。了解這部分的內容後，再據以判斷紙傘在行銷上可能面臨之優勢與劣勢。接著針對這些優勢與劣勢，提出相關之建議，以協助業者在未來彩繪設計的發展應用上，若干參考之訊息。

Meinong paper umbrellas are a traditional industrial art for the Hakka people, and are a part of the customs of Hakka life. In terms of promoting Hakka culture, it is an issue worthy of exploration. However, there have not been many paper umbrella studies, which is why this study attempts to use a more nuanced and in-depth method for thematic study for paper umbrella coloring. This study focuses on analyzing the cultural elements used in drawing, so that the readers can clearly grasp the types of image and implications of these cultural elements in the painting and coloring designs of paper umbrellas.In terms of research method, this study will use secondary data analysis, field investigation, and interviews. On one hand, this study explores past literature on Meinong paper umbrellas, and on the other hand, observation is carried out directly on factories for Meinong paper umbrellas, to understand the cultural elements used when coloring paper umbrellas and photograph them. Finally, interviews are used to strengthen understanding for the whole research question.In this study, it is clear understanding the types of images and internal meanings of the culture elements for Meinong paper umbrellas painting. It is expected that the research results can serve as the strength and weakness faced by marketing and provide industry a certain degree of referential value in the development and application of painted and colored design of Meinong paper umbrellas.
