This article employed action research and aimed to explore the teaching process, learning opportunities and influence of using case method in the course of Educational Administration Ethics. The results showed that it was feasible to use case method in teaching Educational Administration Ethics. In addition, the source, selection and controversy of cases, the design and time arrangement of case discussion and the role of a teacher did in fact influence the process of case method teaching. Moreover, students agreed that the application of case teaching method in a professional ethics course was helpful to provide opportunities, such as individual real-life situation simulations and substitute learning experiences, exposure to multiple perspectives, dialogue with others, self-reflection and thinking. Finally, students also held a positive view of the influence of case method teaching, to increase in personal learning motivation and interests, to expand the breadth and depth of personal thinking, to learn tolerance and respect for different viewpoints, to strengthen the links between theory and practice, and to promote individual critical reflection.
