清代臺灣城市規劃的變體禮制思想

本文蒐整清代官方建立的臺灣城市歷史，以探討清代臺灣城市規劃思想及其文化淵源，借鏡中國古城的規劃，闡釋《周禮》之「禮制」成為城制的道理，並點出「風水」為清代臺灣城市規劃理念中塑造城市風格的環境知識系統。本文將清代臺灣建城歷史分成四個時期，包括緩建時期、過渡時期、發展時期及建設時期，其約略等同於木、竹、土、磚石等四階段城牆構造的演化，揭示臺灣建城從無到有，由簡至精的歷史。以宏觀的歷史看臺灣建城，臺灣邊陲之境的地理特殊性，是清朝施政的主要成見，致使漢文化傳入時因而產生變異，因此，唯有探究臺灣城市的歷史，方能了解臺灣城市的文化內涵，並循此脈絡塑造屬於臺灣的理想生活場景。或許，本文提供了一個城市規劃借鏡歷史的示範。

This paper will collect and compile the history of cities in Taiwan established by officials of the (Thing Dynasty in the investigation of the concepts of city planning in Taiwan during the (Thing Dynasty and its cultural backgrounds. This paper will also interpret city building established under the concepts of ”ritual system” contained within the book of ”Chou Li” by mirroring ancient Chinese city planning as well as points out ”feng shui” as an environmental knowledge system responsible for molding an ideal city planning in Taiwan during the Ching Dynasty. This paper will divide the history of Taiwan's city establishments during the Ching Dynasty into 4 periods, including delayed-construction period, transition period, development period and construction period which are quite similar to the evolution of the 4-stage city wall structures in wood, bamboo, soil and brick. It is a display of Taiwan's history in city building from out of nothing to something and from simplicity to refinery, From a broader historical perspective in looking at the history of Taiwan's city building, Ching Government's prejudice in Taiwan's unique borderland geological attributes is a major cause of the mutation in Taiwan's inherited Han culture. Therefore, only by probing into the history of Taiwan's cities itself can one gain an insight of the cultures of Taiwan's cities as well as the molding an ideal living scenery exclusive of Taiwan via such context. Perhaps this paper provided an urban planning demonstration that profiting by observing history.
