個人的自信度與高科技的普及化關係之探討 〈以技職體系英文教師為例〉

摘要


在此文章中,個人的自信度與高科技的普及化關係將會有深入的探討。Simonson & Thompson(1997)曾提出,為使英文教師們能成功地將高科技媒材融入教學中,他們需要擁有一定程度的自信心。換言之,對於使用高科技媒材有較高自信心的人較相信結合高科技媒材於教室裡將會產出比傳統式教學更為有效率的成果。 藉由給予適當的研習機會來了解軟、硬體設備,進而與同仁或科技專家交換學習心得,將有助於提昇本身教師使用高科技媒材的自信心及能力。有時,抱持著「做就對了」的正面態度,將不僅僅會幫助教師們獲得新知識,並且能在教學品質上有所提昇。

In this study, how does the level of self-confidence affect the diffusion of high-tech in language teaching were explored. Simonson & Thompson (1997) noted that for teachers to successfully adopt high-tech into their teaching, they need to have a certain level of self-confidence. The level of self-confidence is due to the belief that using high-tech in classroom is more efficient and effective than traditional teaching techniques. Based on appropriate training of hardware and software equipments, and exchanging knowledge with other colleges and technology experts, teachers will increase their self-confidence in their own capability to perform high-tech in teaching. For teaching to holding positive attitude of ”just do it” will not only assist them to access updated information but will also help them in instruction.
