正向動機式自我對話在不同壓力情境下對運動表現及自我效能之影響

The effects of motivational positive self-talk on athletes' sport performance and self-efficacy at different stress conditions

摘要


正向自我對話或者正向的心理素質對於運動員的內心狀態具有重要影響力,過去研究發現不同形式的正向自我對話能提升運動選手的運動表現,但許多研究聚焦在優秀運動員的訓練,或者以經驗較為豐富的大專運動員為對象,因此本研究聚焦於較少研究探討的國中選手,探討在不同壓力型態下,正向動機式自我對話運動員運動表現以及自我效能之影響。本研究以南部地區某國中女子乙組排球隊11名選手為研究對象,進行實驗性研究。首先前測測量排球發球表現以及自我效能,以時間(3秒與8秒)和場地(3宮格與9宮格)區分為四種不同壓力情境;在一週後進行自我對話訓練以及後測。研究結果發現在不同壓力情境中,介入正向動機式自我對話對運動員的發球表現與自我效能沒有顯著效果;而場地壓力之操弄在發球表現及自我效能都出現顯著差異。研究結果在未來能作為運動團隊訓練參考。

Positive self-talk and positive psychological quality have essential influence on athletes' mental status. Literature indicated that different kinds of self-talk enhance athletes' sport performance. However, most of the research focused on elite athletes or college athletes. This study focused on junior high school athletes and the research purpose was to investigate the effects of positive motivational self-talk on athletes' sport performance and self-efficacy at different stress conditions. Eleven female volleyball players of a junior high school in southern Taiwan were recruited in the present study. Serving performance and self-efficacy were measured as pre-test. Four different types of stress conditions were manipulated by time (3 seconds vs 8 seconds) and court (a 3 grid vs a 9 grid). The self-talk intervention and post-test were performed one week after the pre-test. The research results showed that the effect of self-talk intervention on serving performance and self-efficacy was not significant; however, the manipulation of different stress by court had significant influence on athletes. The findings of this study are beneficial for sports training.
