鐳射在乳臼齒斷髓術之應用─文獻回顧

The Application of Laser Pulpotomy in Primary Molars-literature Review

摘要


長久以來傳統斷髓術總是用Formocresol來做治療處置,然而牙醫師仍對Formocresol(FC)的毒性有所疑慮,許多學者不斷地研究希望能找到取代FC的方法。隨著科技的進步,鐳射在醫學領域上的應用也越來越多,斷髓術即為其中一項應用。學者們嘗試使用不同的鐳射如CO2鐳射、Nd:YAG鐳射、Er:YAG鐳射以及diode鐳射來做治療,並期待鐳射的表現可以優於FC。而本文即是討論不同鐳射斷髓術之間的差異並比較鐳射斷髓術和FC斷髓術之間的優缺點。

Formocresol was used as the medicament to do traditional pulpotomy treatment until now. However, scholars still suspected that Formocresol might have toxicity and carcinogenicity. It's because the composition of Formocresol contained 19%Formaldehyde and 25%cresol. Even dentists used 1:5 diluted Formocresol solution, people still worried about the toxicity of this material on the body.Laser application in the pediatric dentistry were more common than before, one of these was laser pulpotomy. Dentists tried to use different lasers like CO2 laser, Nd:YAG laser, Er:YAG laser and diode laser to do pulpotomy. They also expected that laser pulpotomy technique could replace the traditional pulpotomy technique. Therefore, in this review article, we would discuss the differences between these laser pulpotomy techniques and compare the differences between laser and Formocresol.
