在簡介加拿大的經濟結構後，我們先將描繪該國自由貿易的政治經濟，接著探索它與美國在歷史上的「特殊關係」，再來，我們要追溯由「美加自由貿易區」到「北美自由貿易區」的發展，最後在結語之前，我們會分析由經濟整合到政治整合的可能路徑

After a brief introduction of Canada's economic structure, we will start with a sketch of the political economy its free trade. Next, efforts will be made to look into its historical ”special relationships” with the United States. Further, we will trace the development from the Canada-United States Free Trade Agreement to the North American Free Trade Agreement. Before we come to the conclusions, we will explore possible routes from economic integration to political integration.
