愛爾蘭獨立運動中的文化國族主義－給台灣的借鏡

傳統上對於獨立運動的探討，大多在研究起義、反叛、武力對抗等過程，但這些行動的背後總是有社會建構主義者關於規範、認同與文化等核心價值以及共同理念，才可以影響行為體邁向國家建構過程。本論文在探討愛爾蘭獨立運動中的文化國族主義。當一個土地被另一強權統治、影響了800年，經過不斷抗爭的400年，其背後一定有個規範、認同、文化等因素影響著愛爾蘭人的行為。這些建構主義的概念，是否可以讓同樣遭受400年外來政權統治的台灣，學得一些經驗，以文化國族主義的概念，凝聚台灣人主體意識，從台灣人的悲哀走向台灣人的驕傲。

Traditionally, the studies of independent movements are mostly in the field of researching the processes of uprising, rebellion and force confrontation. These actions are intertwined with the ideas of norm, identity and culture based on social constructivism. With these core values and common ideas, actors are directed towards the nation-construction process. This article explores the cultural nationalism in the Irish independence movement. When a land is dominated and deeply influenced by another power for 800 years, amongst 400 years of constant fighting, there must be a kind of norm, identity, culture and other factors leading the Irish behavior. Taiwan has also been subjected to 400-year foreign regimes. Can the concept of constructivism provide Taiwan with something to learn so as to apply the concept of cultural nationalism to embody the Taiwanese consciousness, and depart from the sadness of being Taiwanese to the bright side of being pride to be a Taiwanese?
