摘要

我們先將探討國家的肇建，接著介紹獨立建國的過程，再來說明外交承認的重要性，然後分析外交承認的考量，特別是瞭解強權的外交承認，並且進一步解釋美國的外交承認，當然，我們也要知道台灣人建國的困難點，包括國內政治光譜的解析。

In this article, we shall start with an exploration into the process of state-formation. After examining the importance of state-recognition, we shall look into how the powers have extended their recognition to newly created states, with a special focus on the practice of the United States. Finally, we shall probe what obstacles the Taiwanese are facing in the way to state-making.
