The use of passenger aircraft to serve as a bomb to execute terrorist's suicide attacks on the Twin Towers of the New York World Trade Center and Pentagon building of American Defense Department on September 11, 2001 (”911” Accident) sent a warning signal to the security checks of the aviation industry. After this event, how to strengthen flight security and crisis management suddenly became one of major topics in the whole world.The objectives of this research were to recognize the prevention measures that should be taken. Through surveying domestic passengers' perception on flight security and crisis consciousness, the major findings were as follows: The respondents perceived that enhancing access security checks is the most effective method; sky marshals (in-flight security personnel) are supported; sky marshals should be composed by the police; 57.6% of respondents will adopt the action of riot control when a hijack happened.
