王勃〈滕王閣序〉的建築鑑賞及其地位

The Architectural Appreciation and Significance of Wang Bo's "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng"

摘要


初唐四傑之一的王勃,文名頗盛,從《王子安集》卷首蒐集時人與後人言及王勃的〈彙錄事跡〉(包括所附詩文評語),即達四十四頁、二萬餘言之多,可見其引起後世學者目光投注之一斑。其中〈滕王閣序〉更是千古傳誦的名篇。只是歷代研究、分析、評論王勃〈滕王閣序〉的學者,多從文學審美的角度切入。而本文以王勃〈滕王閣序〉云:「儼驂騑於上路,訪風景於崇阿。臨帝子之長洲,得仙人之舊館」,故從建築鑑賞的觀點切入,先敘述亭、臺、樓、閣等與滕王閣相關的空間語彙,次論滕王閣之建築形制與沿革,然後析論王勃對滕王閣建築本體之鑑賞,包括空間場域、建築意境、形式美感及其所引發的感興、抒懷等。最後說明〈滕王閣序〉在唐代建築審美中之地位,包括:為唐代建築鑑賞開山奠基;豐富唐代建築鑑賞之內涵;建築終局之先見影響深遠;首將「建築」與宇宙、人生並論;建立建築審美的不朽文本;創作最快的建築鑑賞名篇等六點。全文可以展示王勃建築審美的觀點,並略窺唐人建築審美的眼光與品味。

Wang Bo is not only famous for being the leader of the Four Literary Eminences in the early Tang Dynasty, his ”Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng” is considered a masterpiece and has been passed down through the generations. Most scholars primarily research and analyze, ”Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng” from a literary perspective; however, this paper conducts an architectural appreciation according to the passage within the text by Wang Bo: ”Prepares the horse-drawn vehicle/To inquire about the scenery of a mountain/Saw down toward the sandbar/Saw the immortal's old hall. First, this paper describes the vocabulary related to the space and other related features of Tengwang Pavilion. Second, the pavilion's architectural form and history are discussed. This study subsequently analyzes Wang Bo's description of Tengwang Pavilion, including the location, architectural image, his formal appreciation, and the exhilaration it evokes. Finally, the architectural aesthetic significance of ”Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng” during the Tang Dynasty is explained, including that the piece provides a foundation for appreciating the Tang Dynasty. To enhance architectural appreciation during the Tang Dynasty, the vision of the pavilion's final construction was profoundly influential. The first article mentioning the pavilion compared the building with the universe and life. Wang Bo's text immortalized architectural appreciation, and is the most famous literary creation of architectural appreciation.
