The purpose of this study is to know the present state of adolescents' leisure attitudes and their involvement in leisure actitivities. The subjects of research are students of the National Taichung Institute of Technology, chosen by means of random cluster sampling, A total of 725 questionnaires were sent out, with 704 of them bringing in effective samples. By using such methods as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product-moment correlation, the statistical data have been analyzed to reveal the following results: In terms of leisure attitudes, adolescents lay more stress on leisure perceptions; variables of different backgrounds will affect their leisure attitudes; From the perspective of overall involvement in leisure activities, adolescents' involvement is on the low side, and their participation in outdoor activities is not perfect. As for the categories of leisure activities, they are often involved in activities of ”sensual entertainment,” with least participation in ”outdoor activities”; in terms of items of activities, the first three items of activities preferred by adolescents are, respectively: going online at home, listening to music, watching TV, which are relatively static and indoor activities.
