In recent years, many counties and cities in Taiwan have joined ”Newborn Hearing Screening Program”. So far there has been Chiayi County, Chiayi City, Kinmen County, Taipei County and Taipei City joined to provide free newborn hearing screening services. This policy helps identify hearing loss in infants and guide families to the appropriate early intervention services needed to develop communication skills.In view of systematic auditory training will be an essential of early intervention services for children with hearing loss, this article will focus on application of ”auditory-verbal approach” in auditory training and management for children with hearing loss who accept early intervention services, and forward to be the references for parents, preschool teachers and relative personnel.
