羽球雙打搭檔關係研究:以他者為中心的反省

The Study of Badminton Doubles Partnerhip: Reflection from Otherness Aspect

摘要


法國哲學家列維納斯認為自我與他者的形上關係是認知關係的基礎,是我們之所以能夠理解事物的可能性條件,包括對存有本身的理解;主張從自我角度出發而達到的他者並不具有他異性,而為了保有他者的他異性,就必需由絕對他者出發,堅持他者他異性之不可化約,而在與這不可化約的他人之關係中,人的存在始得顯現。本文嘗試以列維納斯的他者中心及臉容說探討羽球雙打搭檔間的關係,首先回到羽球比賽的現場觀察搭檔間的互動,再由心理與社會的角度分析雙打搭檔在比賽現場面臨之困境,接著以列維納斯的以他者為中心倫理學和臉容說,以及其他列維納斯思想部份,來呈現羽球雙打搭檔間原初性的關係,並討論羽球雙打搭檔的存在處境,最後在結論中做出反思與檢討,確認雙打搭檔對彼此來說為「絕對他者」,並藉著「臉龐」互相影響及運作。

Emmanuel Levinas indicates that perceived relation is built on the meta-physical relation between "self" and "the other", which is a possible approach to our understanding of the existence, including our perception of "to-be". "The other" approached from the aspect of "self" does not possess "ethical alterity". As a result, one should start from the aspect of the "absolute other" and insist on the "irreducibility" of the "ethical alterity", so as to maintain the "ethical alterity" of "the other". This study investigates the badminton doubles partnership from the reflection of Levinas's Otherness theory and the concept of "the face of the other". Based on a brief discussion on the partnership interaction through the researcher's observation, the confronted difficulties within partnership are reflected from both psychological and sociological aspects. With an analysis of the "originality" between badminton doubles partnership reflected from Levinas's Otherness theory and the concept of "the face of the other", the study takes a review of the existing difficulties and further concludes that badminton doubles partners are the "absolute other" to each other, who has influence on each other through visage.
