陳金獅對臺灣高爾夫運動的貢獻：以《中央日報》與《聯合報》的新聞報導為例

被譽為「臺灣高爾夫之父」的陳金獅，由於住家地緣之便，得以在臺灣高爾夫俱樂部（老淡水球場）從事桿弟工作。因工作關係，對高爾夫產生興趣，利用工作之餘研習高爾夫相關知識，成為臺灣早期職業球員。本文透過比較分析和歸納分析《中央日報》與《聯合報》兩家報社，針對「陳金獅」的相關報導進行探討，瞭解陳金獅參與老淡水球場的重建工作，在重建完成後，就積極投入「為國征戰」與「培育高球人才」這兩大工作項目中，在人才培育方面，許多臺灣知名球員皆出自他的門下，包括：陳清波、呂良煥、許溪山、謝敏男、謝永郁、涂阿玉等人。1965年，陳金獅創立了職業高爾夫球委員會，隸屬於中華高協，這是臺灣職業高爾夫運動組織化的開始。陳金獅大部分時間都奉獻給臺灣的高爾夫運動發展，對臺灣高球界和老淡水球場貢獻良多。

Chin-Shih Chen, known as the father of golf in Taiwan, was born in 1911. He developed an interest in playing golf because of the during serving as a caddie in Taiwan Golf and Country Club (old Tamsui golf course), and then he became one of the first professional golfers in Taiwan due to his hard study and practice. This paper, through analyzing the news of Central Daily News and United Daily News from 1950s to 1970s, aims at a detailed research on Chin-Shih Chen himself. This paper finds that Chin-Shih Chen devotes himself to two missions: being a national athlete and training golf talents. Many famous golf athletes are trained by him, such as Qing-Bo Chen, Liang-Huan Lu, Chi-San Hsu, Min-Nan Hsieh, Yung-Yo Hsieh, and A-Yu Tu; so Chin-Shih Chen gained his reputation through media. In 1965, Chin-Shih Chen set up Professional Golfers' Association of The Republic of China, which is the beginning of the organization of professional golfers. Chin-Shih Chen contributes his life to the development of golf in Taiwan, and his effort plays an important role for Taiwan golf and old Tamsui golf course.
