目的:本研究探討大專院校運動選手與學生之睡眠與生活品質的現況,並比較同性別中兩組群的差異。方法:以中部地區男性274 名與女性181 名之大專院校運動選手(簡稱大專選手)及男性217 名與女性258 名之大專學生(簡稱大學生)為研究對象,研究工具使用匹茲堡睡眠品質量表與SF-36 生活品質量表。結果:大專選手無論性別,在每週的訓練次數與每次訓練時間明顯多於大學生。大專選手與大學生在睡眠總分皆無差異性,但在各分項得分上,大專選手睡眠時間明顯低於大學生,且白天功能障礙皆明顯高於大學生,此外男性大專選手之睡眠困擾及藥物使用皆明顯高於大學生。在生活品質分析方面,男性大專選手在身體疼痛與情緒功能角色限制之得分,明顯低於大學生,但在一般健康知識與活力狀態項目之得分,明顯高於大學生。女性大專選手之心理健康總分明顯低於大學生,而各分項得分上,女性大專選手在身體生理功能角色限制、社交情形與情緒功能角色限制項目,明顯低於大學生。結論:本研究發現大專選手不論男女,皆自覺睡眠時間很充足,但仍感覺白天有較常精神不濟的情形,特別是男性大專選手還呈現較多的睡眠困擾。在生活品質方面,男女性大專選手皆自覺感知,有較多日常生活中因為情緒所導致的問題,但整體而言,男性運動選手有較多的生理上正向的自覺感知,而女性運動選手則多為心理與人際交流的問題。
Purpose: This study was to investigate the status of sleep and quality of life for college athletes and students, and to compare the differences between the two same sex groups. Methods: There are total of 274 male and 181 female college athletes and 217 male and 258 female college students were collected as research samples in the central area. The study uses "Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index" and 36-item short form health survey. Results: The college athletes, male or female, had significantly more training or exercise sessions compared to college students weekly. There was no significance in the total sleep score between the college athletes and students, however, college athletes were significantly lower in the scores of sleep time and higher in daytime dysfunction than college students. Moreover, the male college athletes were higher than college students in the scores of sleep disturbance and drug use of sleep medicines. In the quality of life analysis, the male college athletes in the bodily pain and role limitation due to emotional problems, significantly lower than the college students, but in the score of general health and vitality was significantly higher than college students. In the metal component summary, the overall score of indicators for female college athletes are lower than college students significantly. And in the sub-score, female college athletes in the role limitation due to physical problems, social functioning and role limitation due to emotional problems are obviously lower than college students. Conclusions: In this study, it found that, whether the male and female for college athletes, were conscious of having enough sleep time, but still felt more insane during the day, especially the male college athletes showed more sleep disturbance. In quality of life, college athletes of male and female are consciously perceived, there are more emotional problems caused by daily life, but overall, male college athletes have more physical sense of positive perception, and female college athletes were mostly psychological and interpersonal problems.
