中醫進入居家安寧照護的案例經驗分享

摘要

本案例是一位89歲直腸癌轉移肝臟的患者，從發現到逝世中間歷時不到兩個月，中醫首次以居家安寧療護的照護方式協助病人與家屬面對最後的歷程，在病人選擇放棄積極治療後，中醫在引進當代安寧的觀點協助病人與家屬走完最後的歷程，除了緩解病人身體疼痛不過，也協助家屬度過這段艱辛的歷程。

This article presents the first case of hospice and palliative care lead by traditional Chinese medical group. A 89 y/o male who signed the DNR without active treatment suffered from gasp and other uncomfortable symptoms looking for alleviating care by traditional chinese medicine and acupoint massage. With our team care, patient dead in peace and families appreciated things all we had done.
