摘要

本研究主要目的是運用行為修正技巧，改善一位輕度智能不足之精神分裂症個案的不適當行為。在照護個案期間，透過行為觀察紀錄及會談方式進行問題行為之界定，並與個案及家屬共同訂定行為契約，運用行為修正之增強、處罰、代幣制度與逐步養成等行為改變技巧，同時輔以接納、關懷的態度，配合適當行為的說明、示範及演練，來達到協助個案建立適當的新行為。
經過兩個月的執行期間，個案不再出現不適當的行為，同時提昇了合宜表達需求的技巧，與自我控制的能力，並促進了家屬參與及執行對個案照顧的能力，此照護經驗將可作為未來精神醫療專業之有效參考。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the application of behavioral modification at gradually eliminating inappropriate behavior on the part of a schizophrenia patient with mild mental retardation. During the nursing period, through observation records and interview, we defined problematic behavior and drew up a behavioral agreement with the patient and his family. By application of behavioral modification techniques, such as positive reinforcement, punishment, a token economic system and shaping, and with acceptance, concern, demonstration and rehearsal, we tried to help the patient to establish new adaptive behavior.
After two months of application of this strategy, the patient revealed no more inappropriate behavior, and showed appropriate need expression techniques and good self control, and the family was able to participate more fully and more capably in his care. This nursing experience may serve as a helpful reference in future professional mental health practice.
