摘要

加護單位病患常因外在環境因素造成失眠或睡眠剝奪之症狀，然而良好的睡眠品質對於預後有著顯著之影響。如何促進加護單位病患獲得充足之睡眠，進而加速康復，則為臨床護理人員所面臨之挑戰。本文整理相關文獻，闡述睡眠的生理、影響重症病患睡眠的因素、睡眠問題對重症病患疾病之影響與睡眠問題之處理，做為臨床護理人員未來發展照護重症病患睡眠護理方式之依據。

Critically ill patients often experience insomnia or sleep deprivation caused by ICU environment. Quality of sleep affects prognosis directly. Improving the amount of sleep of patients to promote their recovery is a challenge to ICU nurses. This article examines sleep physiology, factors that affect ICU patients, sleep pattern, and care to improve sleep problems. The information presented may be used as a foundation for future care of critically ill patients.
