摘要
自西元1854年克里米亞戰爭起，軍陣護理便與外傷護理無法分割。時至今日，國內雖無戰事，但我們仍不能掉以輕心，需以照顧外傷病人為發展軍事護理之基礎之一。外傷護理涵蓋領域自到院前的穩定與復甦、院內的復甦與手術、重症護理、中級照護、復健與預防，內容甚廣，且包含急診、手術、加護病房、一般病房，甚至精神科、門診或復健等各部門，是每一階段、不同部門的護理人員共同的課題。也正因此，外傷教育訓練的推廣與落實更顯重要，當前唯有從每一位外傷病人中，落實外傷護理的原則，持續加強外傷護理新知，反覆鍛鍊照護技能，方能在需要時發揮外傷護理人員的照顧、合作、協調、代言、支持與教育等角色與功能。

Military nursing originated in 1854 during the Crimean War. It is closely associated with trauma care. Scope of trauma care encompasses resuscitation, pre-hospital stabilization, surgical interventions, intensive care, intermediate care, rehabilitation, psychiatry and preventive medicine. Current trauma concepts and care structures create a variety of opportunities for nursing roles and functions. This article reviews the history and evolution of trauma nursing in Taiwan and examines critical factors that will enhance the competency of trauma nursing care.
