高中學生知覺父母期望-價值信念對運動涉入的影響

The Effect of Student Perception Parents Expectancy-Value Belief for Exercise Involvement in High School Students

摘要


影響個體活動選擇的動機,一直是運動心理學研究者關注的主題之一。根據Eccles的期望價值理論的概念,父母對子女在特定活動的期望與價值信念,會影響子女在該領域的期望與價值信念,而後影響子女活動的選擇。本研究嘗試以,檢驗高中學生知覺父母對子女運動的期望與價值信念是否能預測高中學生運動涉入程度。204位高中學生年齡從16到19歲(M=17.50, SD=1.00);男生、女生約各半,運動期望與價值量表-兒童及青少年版、以及娛樂、運動和休閒活動。經多元迴歸分析結果顯示:能力期望及工作價值對運動涉入的預測力有顯著的貢獻,但是需求努力、重要他人的期望代價和失敗的心理代價三個變項則沒有顯著的預測力,部份支持Eccles等人期望價值理論對於探討運動領域的成就行為市一個有效的概念。

Physical Education Section, Ming Dao High School Factors influence motivation of students' participation in exercise, especially influences from parents, have been an important issue in sport psychology. According to Eccles' expectancy-value theory, parents expectancy and value believes of their children in activities will transfer these believes to their children. Finally, children's expectancy and value believes will influence their choice of activities. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of student perception parents expectancy-value belief for exercise involvement in high school students. Male and female high school students (N=204) completed measures assessing Perception Parents sport expectancy and value belief scale (including: ability expectancy, need effort, psychological cost of failure, significant others' expectations cost and task value.), and exercise behavior questionnaires. The scale had acceptable to excellent internal consistency. Results indicated that two valid was significantly different (ability expectancy and task value), support Eccles's expectancy-value theory is useful concept to achievement behavior study in the sports field. The authors end the study suggest new directions for future research.
