我國高等教育餐旅相關科系教師人口組成分佈之研究

摘要

企業內的人口組成型態，受到環境、企業組織內的制度、以及產業特性的影響。而組織的人口組成型態也會影響組織的績效、溝通、以及內部的凝聚力等。大學教師一職，一般被視爲是高度專業且需高度自我管理的工作型態。大學教師的主要職責，有教學、研究、及服務工作。國內高等觀光教育已經有40年以上的歷史，尤其是近五年來高教的觀光相關科系所數量快速增加，造成師資的大幅需求，而本科系所的教學內容又具備了跨學科與多元的特性，這些都是影響本科系教師的人口組成的因素。以往關於觀光教育的研究，大多著重在探討教學課程的安排、實習制度、與教師的專業能力…等方向。至目前爲止，並沒有關於觀光科系教師個人的相關研究。因此本研究，針對高等教育觀光相關科系的專任教師人口組成分佈情形加以探討，並分析不同的教師人口組成，對於學校所提供給教師們對於教學、研究、與服務的設備資源，在認知上是否有差異。期望藉由研究本科系專任教師的人口組成開始，引發對高教的觀光教育師資更深入的研究與探討，作爲未來培養本科系教師的參考，以培養優秀的教師人力資源。達成觀光教育的教學目標與提高教學品質，進而提昇觀光教育的學術地位，使大學觀光教育能確實培養出產業需要的專門人才，進而提升產業人力素質，增加產業的競爭力。

Research revealed that environment, system, and industry attributes affected on the type of organization demography. Meanwhile, the characteristic of organization demography was a crucial impact to the organization running.
The development of higher tourism education was more than 50 years. The demands of educators were boomed by the establishment of new departments in the pass five years. Consequently, this phenomenon influence on higher tourism educators demography composition in Taiwan. Most of researches on tourism education focus on curriculums and internship system in Taiwan. Little attention was paid on the demographic composition of educator of tourism education. For insuring the high quality human resource in tourism industry, it must concern on the teaching team in school. This paper based on human recourse viewpoint to examine the demographic composition of educators in this department. Analyze with description statistic and One- way ANOVA to figure out the demography of hospitality department of higher education and discuss the diversity of educator in this field.
