餐旅管理學生評鑑態度、成就動機與滿意度之實證研究

The Relationship of Student Attitude towards Accreditation, Achievement Motivation and Satisfaction in Hospitality Management Education Based on Structural Equation Model

摘要


本研究主要針對大專院校餐旅類學生進行分析其自我成就動機、學習滿意度以及對系所評鑑的看法與其之間的關係。其母體爲全國大專院校餐旅類科系學生,以分層隨機抽樣方式針對就讀中之餐旅類科系學生進行研究調查,共發出了832份,有效回收樣本共463份,回收率爲55.65%。本研究除了將大專院校學生對評鑑看法進行測量系統分析以外,另一方面以大專院校性質分爲大學院校與技職院校兩群,分別建構不同學制群組樣本的自我成就動機、學習滿意度以及對系所評鑑的看法之模式,研究發現大學院校與技職院校學生對系所滿意度與其對評鑑的態度並無顯著的關係,其餘徑路值均呈現顯著關係。最後,本研究針對模式提出若干建議,希望能提供各大專院校餐旅類科系之未來管理發展之參考。

There is growing interest in the development and application of accreditations for the hospitality management education to both promote quality assurance but also to improve the processes by which hospitality educations are held accountable to the industry. This study begins with an overview of the hospitality-related accreditation schemes currently operating in United States of Americans and determines the quality standards that are traditionally a part of evaluation of faculty, curriculum and students issues. This study attempts to apply achievement of motivation, learning satisfaction as they related to students opinion of accreditation. For this study, 463 valid questionnaires were divided into two groups according to the university and vocational education systems. The study constructed the basic model of each groups with a multi-group test. Through the examination of the structural equation modeling on the multi-group samples, the path coefficients of learning satisfaction and student opinion of accreditation have no significant influence. The study concludes with a discussion of the implication and suggestion for further research and hospitality education practice.
