8iomechanical Analysis of 1998 World Swimming Champioships (Citiny the Example of 50m and 100m)

長划距(Long strokes)。 2.快劃頻(Fast strokes)。。 3.

The aim of this research is to discuss the Biomechanical Analysis of short distance swimming in 1998 World Swimming Champioship. Acucrding to the system of Biomechanical Analysis adepted by the congress, the competition is divided into four parts, which are start time, free time, swim time, turn time, and finish time. The system records and measurer ninteen to thirty-two variable of each swimmer in each lane, from start, free swim, turn to finish. This research has statistically analized the differences between Group A and B, according to thier variables under T test and comes to the follwing conclusion: As a whole, each variable of Group A, including start, free swim, turn and finish times, is better than that of Group B. We can conclude that a great swimmer should have the following distinguished characteristics in a competition: l. Long strokes 2. Fast strokes 3. Great skills, including explosive starts, tight turns, and powerful finish. 4. The capacity for enduring fatigue-the ability to accelerate in the second half part does not abate.
