This research explores the connotation of dance appreciation under general education. Since each person's esthetic standard is not necessarily the same and there is a difference regarding the basic cognition of the dance, we can inspire student's thoughts of artistic appreciation through curriculum arrangement and design. This study adapts the model of action research as well as researcher's actual teaching experience of connotation of <||>dance appreciation<||> in four aspects:1. The dancing behavior and activity uses mankind as main body to explore the relationships between mankind and the living environment; 2. Enhance the power of expression and creativity; 3. Training and restoration of esthetic knowledge.; 4. Social, cultural value development.
