人體立姿平衡能力與下肢肌力之相關探討

Relation between the Power of Lower Extremity Muscular and Balance Ability in Young Adults

摘要


Several studies demonstrate that the power of lower extremity muscular (PLEM) decline by aging. PLEM has been considered the major factor to affect balance ability. The purpose of this study was to examine the correlations between the PLEM and the ability of balance (AB) in young adult. There were 33 males and 37 females were recruited to participated this study (age=20.78±0.79 yr). The stand jump and open-eye balance testing were performed. Pearson's correlation coefficients were used to examine the relations between PLEM and AB. Independent t-tests were used to compare with different sex in PLEM and AB. The results showed that the negative correlations between PLEM and AB in male (r=-.383, p<.05) and female (r=-.414, p<.01), respectively. The PLEM in male was significantly higher than female’s. However, there was no difference in balance ability between male and female. This study implicated PLEM probably was not the major factor to affect the AB in young adult even though there was moderate negative correlation between PLEM and AB.
