The main purpose of this study was to understand the leisure behavior variable of mountain hikers for college students. There were the leisure benefit scale were administered to subjects in order to examine the differences in leisure behavior. Therefore, the model consists of the following dimensions: physiological benefits, self-actualization, psychological benefits, and social benefits. Each questionnaire consisted of eleven items. The research verified this measuring scale based on confirmatory factor analysis in Structural Equation Model (SEM) to examine these competing models and to find out the best fitting model. There are 375 valid questionnaires were collected in this study. Those data was analyzed by LISREL8.52. The results of the confirmatory factor analysis show that the overall model fits of the activity involvement scale are good. (χ^2=113.47, χ^2/df=2.84, GFI=0.95, NNFI=0.96, CFI=0.96, RMSEA=0.07) with high construct reliability, discriminate validity. The leisure benefit scale in this study is confirmed to be good of mountain hikers for college students.
