多才多藝的陽夏謝氏

六朝士族培養子弟多方面的藝能，涵育出高度的菁英文化，而士族也憑藉著其優勢文化以維持家族聲望與地位。名士輩能清言、善屬文、好技藝，甚者無所不能。王、謝家族為六朝前二大家族，家門中人才濟濟，得力於家族教育的實施，子弟能夠仰觀堂構，克紹箕裘。本文以陳郡陽夏謝氏為核心，探討課題有三：一、士人特別重視以詩文經藝為主的美育，並以此風尚為子弟設計生存方式。陽夏謝氏的藝文教育，使子弟在正式課程、非正式課程與潛在課程中，浸漸培養審美能力與創作表達。二、謝氏子弟具有多方面的才藝修養，如圍棋、書法、繪畫、音樂、舞蹈等等，代有人才。三、謝氏文人敢於開創風氣，領導潮流，他們以突出的創新意識和在文學上的多重貢獻，奠定了自己在文學上的地位。除了文學上亮麗的成績之外，謝氏也積極於武略事功，自東晉謝尚、謝安、謝石、謝玄建立軍事武勳，下逮於南朝謝幾卿，尚有家風遺韻。
