活用表現意圖的敬語表現指導的探討-依據符號理論的意圖的明示

Exploratory Study on the Teaching of Honorific Expressions by Effective Use of Expressive Intentions

摘要


本稿針對如何可確認由「意圖」至「表現」的連動的正確性來做闡述。因此以使用「符號」來顯示說話者的表現意圖為研究重點並進行教學實驗。本實驗結果可確認出以下3點「符號」的有効性。1)作為誘導工具與確認工具所使用的符號,不僅可讓學習者自行判斷所使用的表現是否適當。而且可作為第三者客觀評價的材料。2)配合表現意圖學習者自身所標示的「符號」來表示敬語表現。包含人際關係,使用何種敬語,提高何種人物,可用來說明敬語的性質・機能的不同,同時也可客觀地來表示。3)先提出基底型的敬語,並讓學習者記述對待遇對象所使用的敬語。藉由讓學習者來選擇敬語的性質・機能的意思,可確認實際所用的敬語表現與敬語表現所擁有的特徵是否一致,並可判斷表現使用是否適當。

This paper aims to describe how to ensure the accuracy in the linkage from "intentions" to "expressions". Experimental teaching has been conducted focusing on the use of "signs" to show speaker's expressive intentions. The effectiveness of "signs" has been confirmed through the following three methods: 1) "Signs" as confirming as well as inducing tools not only enable the learner to judge the adequacy of his expressions but can also be used as materials for objective evaluation by the third party. 2) The learner, by using expressions based on his expressive intent ions, will become able to explain the nuances in the nature and function of honorifics by recognizing which expressions to use and which person to honor in his relationships. This can also be shown objectively. 3) With a list of base honorifics, the learner can be asked to describe the honorific target to whom the honorifics refers and choose appropriate aspects of its nature and function. The learner thus can ascertain whether his expressions match the characteristics in the list and can judge the adequacy of his use of honorific expressions.
