家庭暴力的代間傳遞:一位觸法少年的個案分享

Intergenerational Transmission of Family Violence: A Case Study of One Juvenile Delinquent

摘要


家庭暴力一直是一相當受到重視的社會議題,而在家暴議題裡,無論是家暴循環模式或是家暴代間傳遞的論述與研究均不在少數,這些文獻共同強調的是,家庭暴力的經驗會透過代代傳遞的方式而影響子女,當然也包括偏差與觸法行為。社會學習理論是最常被引用來解釋此現象的,孩子會藉由觀察、模仿途徑而學習各種行為模式,其中也包括家人的暴力行為。本文來自與一位保護管束少年的工作經驗,分析的文本來自會談紀錄與其他工作者的文字摘述。作者期待透過個案探討的方式,釐清家庭暴力與孩子觸法行為的關連性,並對往後處遇類似青少年個案時,提出可供參考的處遇策略與技巧建議。

Domestic violence is a high-profile social problem, and its prevalence and causes have been extensively discussed in the social science literature. And the intergenerational transmission violence or cycle of violence, which is commonplace in the studied explanations on domestic violence. Due to the intergenerational transmission process, children learn how to act by experiencing how others treat them. Therefore, children in the family learn through direct behavioral conditioning and by imitating the behavior they have observed or seen reinforced in others. Actually, Social learning theory provides the theoretical rationale for understanding how family violence is transmitted to next generation. This paper was to explore the juvenile delinquency and domestic violence experience of one juvenile under the probation system. Data collected from interview record and feedback of the workers. Results of this paper indicate that domestic violence plays an important role in influencing juvenile' delinquent behaviors, and furthermore, to suggest some skills for the development of interventions that work for those youth.
