An Overview of a Market Driven New Product Development Process Management

行銷導向產品創新與開發管理之研究

並列摘要

This paper presents an overview of a practical market-driven New Product Development (NPD) process, which has been integrated both theoretical models and from models currently in use by major global corporations, as it is primarily oriented towards the durable goods industries. The integrated market driven NPD process consists of several stages, including marketing research, engineering, manufacturing, sales and distribution, which follow in sequence but are interdependent. A company's goal is to complete the NPD efficiently from concept development to product delivery with minimal investment cost, maximal speed, and maximum customer satisfaction. Factors such as the degree of innovation, detail planning, distinctive NPD strategies, simultaneous engineering, and a perfect NPD process are critical contributions to the success of the NPD.
