低頭族的教學策略

The Teaching Strategies of Phubbers

摘要


由於電腦科技的進步,智慧型手機已發展成為一行動式電腦,大學生幾乎人手一機,每天花大量的時間在玩手機上,連在課堂上也不例外,除了影響自己的學習成效,也多少會影響教師的教學情緒。從90位學生「為什麼上課要玩手機?」的回答中發現,會在課堂上玩手機的原因乃:手機的吸引力大過上課、手機遊戲有趣且好玩、無聊、用手機來打發時間、缺乏自制力莫名地想玩、和朋友聊天或聯絡、看新聞了解時事或了解周遭發生的事(看社群網站)、課程內容缺變化或無趣、不吸引人等等。針對此,提出的建議,在學校方面有:建立健康的手機上網意識、加強情緒管理教育、打造認真求學的校園文化、建置手機上網的學習平台。在教師方面有:引起學生的學習動機、提供與生命經驗連結的學習材料、提供實際參與學習情境設計的機會、提供實際應用的機會、提供一個安全與愛的學習環境。

Due to the progress of computer technology, mobile phones have become mobile computers. Most of college students have mobile phones with them. They spend lots of time using the mobile phones, even sitting in the class. It is no good for their learning, and also has negative effects on teacher's mood. The question"Why do you use mobile phones in the class?" is asked. The answers are: 1) Mobile phones are more attractive than the learning. 2) Games are fun and very interesting. 3) They feel bored in the class. 4) They use mobile phones for killing time. 5) They can't help stop using mobile phones. 6) They use mobile phone to chat with friends. 7) They want to know what's new. 8) The learning materials are boring. The teaching ways of teachers are unattractive. The suggestions are made. 1) The school should help students use mobile phones reasonably. 2) The school should teach students how to manage emotion. 3) The school should afford a loving-learning culture. 4) The school should afford a learning platform in the internet. 5) The teachers should encourage students to have motives to learn. 6) The teachers should provide learning materials which have something to do with students' life experience. 7) The teachers should provide opportunities that the students can get involved. 8) The teachers should provide students a chance to do practical training. 9) The teachers should provide students a safe and be-loved learning environment.
