Group Acceptance Sampling Plans for the Generalized Rayleigh Distribution

In this paper, the group acceptance sampling plan under the time truncated life test is proposed when the product lifetime follows a generalized Rayleigh distribution. The two-point approach on operating characteristic curve is adopted to find the design parameters of the proposed group plan. Tables are constructed for the proposed plan according to group size, test termination ratio and true mean. The proposed sampling plan is also extended for some others life distributions for the comparison. Finally, an example is given for illustration.
