以3D電腦動畫模擬輔助國小學童磁場概念之學習

Using 3D Computer Animation to Assist Elementary Students in Learning the Conception of Magnetic Field

摘要


「磁場」是一種既抽象又複雜的空間概念,在傳統教學上比較難以傳遞,因此經常導致學生的迷思概念如「磁場是二維空間的,不是三維空間的」。為了幫助學生建立磁場的空間概念,本研究利用3D電腦動畫技術發展出一套磁場的立體空間模型,來輔助學生進行磁場概念之學習,以建立正確的磁場空間概念,避免迷思概念的發生。我們使用這套模型進行教學實驗與分析,發現3D電腦動畫模擬對於國小學童學習磁場空間概念有正面的成效。成就測驗的結果顯示,實驗組的學生在磁場空間與形狀的問題中有九成以上完全答對,控制組只有不到一半的學生完全答對;問卷調查的結果也顯示超過八成的學生認同3D電腦動畫模擬對於磁場空間概念的學習具有正面的效果。

Magnetic field is an abstract and complicated spatial conception, which is difficult to convey in traditional teaching and often causes the misconception of students to believe that magnetic field is a two-dimensional space. To help students develop the spatial conception of magnetic field, this work utilizes 3D computer animation technology to design a 3D model of magnetic field, which can assist students in learning the conception of magnetic field while avoiding the formation of misconceptions. We applied this model to a teaching experiment, and found that it is useful for the students of primary schools in learning the conception of magnetic field. The results of achievement tests showed that over 90% of students in the experimental group obtained perfect scores; however, only half of the students in the control group got answered all questions correctly. The results of questionnaires also indicated that more than 80% of students agreed with the efficiency of 3D animation in helping them study the conception of magnetic field.
