六標準差具有配合公司策略目標、結合財務改善與強調績效衡量指標,在改善問題的能力、管理體系的效能、管理思維與邏輯、知識分享等各方面有卓越的貢獻,使得六標準差成為追求高競爭力企業的最佳管理工具。本研究以六標準差管理手法的流程步驟-DMAIC,進行積層陶瓷電容器(MLCC)製程改善。使用失效模式與效應分析與實驗設計等相關品質改善工具,首先找出關鍵品質特性,歸納出影響製程的關鍵因子,再利用實驗設計法進行實驗,找出最佳的製程參數組合,進行最佳參數製程能力的驗證,以六標準差專案的方式進行改善,使MLCC製程在最佳化參數組合後,品質和製程能力大幅提升。本研究之結論得到六標準差DMAIC可成功運用於被動元件製程改善,經過改善後效果,報廢成本和不良率皆明顯改善。因此依據個案研究中實務應用經驗,可提供有意導入六標準差品質系統之相關企業做為參考。
Six Sigma has been carried out by various organizations such as financial services, health care and government. Because of its great ability in solving problems, improving efficiency and management policy and making everyone willing to share knowledge, it provides numbers of advantages. The purpose of this research is to improve Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC) process by applying DMAIC procedure. Tools such as Pareto Diagram, Trend Chart, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Design of Experiments are used for quality improvement. It begins by identifying the critical quality characteristics and process variables. Then design of experiments methodology is carried out to identify the optimal operating conditions of significant factors for further verification of the best process capability. The results indicate that DMAIC methodology has greatly improved the MLCC process in terms of reduced cost and defective rate. The contribution of this research is to establish an application model combined with enterprise's strategy and the Six Sigma methodology, which can serve as a roadmap for the enterprises when considering the six sigma in practice.
