摘要

本文的主要目的是「文學史」建構的角度，重新反省先秦時期文學的可能樣貌，並試圖闡發民間文學的文學特質，及其對於後世文學的影響。論題的分析與討論將以下列數端的思考為基礎：（一）文學混沌時期的文學啟蒙與功能；（二）重新反省「民間文學」的意義界定；（三）創作者、書寫者與接受者三者的關係；（四）文學史建構的核心價值；（五）先秦主要文獻的貢獻與限制。本文尤其集中在《易經》、《詩經》、《左傳》、《荀子》、《韓非子》、《楚辭》等書所反映的民間文學意義，提出懷疑和推測，希冀藉此彌補先秦文學史乃至於整體文學史建構中的若干環節。

With reflection upon the literature of pre-Qin dynasty, as well as an aim to reconstruct the history of literature, the essay tries to discuss the characteristics of folk literature and its influence afterward. The following discussions are based on the enlightenment of literature in the period of chaos, and also the definition of folk literature. Furthermore, the relationship between authors and receivers and the elemental value of the history of literature are both considerable problems as well as the limitation of archives in pre-Qin dynasty. Particularly, the literary meaning reflected in documents in pre-Qin dynasty is also reviewed and discussed in order to make up some shortcomings in the history of literature.
