The oesophageal squamous papilloma, which is a rare epithelial lesion in children, may be caused by gastroesophageal reflux disease or human papillomavirus infection. We report the case of a 17-year-old adolescent female with nausea and epigastric pain for 3 weeks. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy detected a polypoid flower-shaped lesion in the mid-oesophagus and gastroesophageal reflux disease. Pathology report confirmed the diagnosis of oesophageal squamous papilloma.
