The purpose of this article was to figure out the differences of metatarsophalangeal joint (MPJ) range of motion (ROM) and the activation of EMG of lower extremity among three kinds of flexible shoes while walking, jogging, and running. The result shows that while wearing shoe 3 the MPJ ROM is the greatest during walking, jogging, and running, and the activation of the EMG of lower extremity is the lowest only in walking, during the push-off phase of gait cycle.
