高中職幼保科學生升學科系選擇意向及其影響因素之研究

A Study of the Enrollment Intention and Its Influential Factors for the Early Childcare Department Students in Vocational and High School

摘要


台灣目前面臨少子化的問題,少子化造成幼教師缺額急速減少,大學幼保相關學系招生條件越來越不佳,若是要解決這個問題,探索與了解高職幼保科學生的升學選擇意向,能為招生問題提供直接的數據資料。本研究因而從高中職幼保科學生入學前的條件(因興趣選讀幼保科、因成績選讀幼保科)與入學後的知覺(專業能力、課程規劃)來探討影響學生未來升大學時繼續選讀幼保科系的意向。本研究以分層隨機抽樣的方式,對全國有幼保科的高中職學生進行抽樣調查,先分北/中/南/東四個區域,以各區高中職幼保科學生人數佔全國幼保科學生人數的比例來進行抽樣,有效樣本2176份。透過全國性問卷資料的搜集,以及問卷調查結果顯示:有約三成的高中職幼保科學生不選擇升學幼保相關學系;如果要促進升學幼保相關學系,應重視國中升學高中職幼保科時,選擇有興趣幼保教育的國中生,如此最能預測未來升學選擇大學幼保相關學系;其次應改善學生認為課程規劃不佳的問題,因為課程規劃不佳促使學生不再選擇幼保相關學系升學。以上兩項主要研究結果也為大學幼保系與高中職幼保科提供聯盟與合作以促進招生的理論基礎。

With the declining birthrate in Taiwan, kindergarten childcare center teachers are being reduced in positions, the enrollment getting worse. If we hope to resolve the problem, we need to explore and realize the enrollment intention to the early childcare department students in vocational high schools according to the data sampled nationwide. We explore the vocational high school students' intention of enrolment through two sections. 1.The conditions before vocational high school enrolment includes both 'for personal interest to choose the early childcare department' and 'for the high school joint entrance achievement to choose the early childcare department', to test the connection between the two conditions and the preferred department in a university. 2.The conditions after vocational high school enrolment includes both 'perception of professional ability' and 'perception of curriculum designs of school', to test the two conditions' effects on choice of university.We conduct a random sampling from four areas of Taiwan (including the eastern area, the western area, the southern area, and the northern area). According to the percentage of the numbers of the vocational high school students of the area, if the schools are sampled, every student in grade 12 has to complete the questionnaire. The valid samples are 2176.The results show that approximately 30% of the students don't select to enroll the early childcare department, but if we can choose the enthusiastic students about early childhood education and pay more attention to the students who choose the early childcare department for personal interest before vocational high school enrolment, then we can predict these students enter the early childcare department in the future. Furthermore, we have to improve the negative perception about 'school curriculum design of school' because it negatively influences selecting to enter the early childcare department. The results above can be a basic theory for the early childcare department to cooperate and ally, providing a primary answer to the early childcare department development and future vision.
